Meet Wilson F. "Todd" Skinner, III

Todd Skinner is an attorney and counselor at law with his practice limited to trusts and estates, family business succession planning, asset protection, and charitable gift planning.

The Law Office of Skinner & Skinner provides state-of-the-art estate and business planning legal advice, counsel, and documentation to its clients. In 1993, Todd graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. In 1997, he earned his Juris Doctor Degree with Dean's Honors from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas.

In 1999 after working as a criminal defense attorney in Northern Virginia, Todd decided to return to Williamsburg and practice law with his father.

Todd is admitted to practice before all state courts in Virginia, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

He is a member of the Peninsula Estate Planning Council, the Hampton Roads Gift Planning Council, the Williamsburg Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar and its section on Trusts & Estates. Todd is a member WealthCounsel, a nationwide collaboration of trusts and estates attorneys and other legal, tax and business professionals, which ensures the latest techniques are always available to Todd’s clients.
